Dr. Anandarajan earned both his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and his Doctor of Medicine from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. He completed his general surgery residency at Vassar Brothers Medical Center (Nuvance Health/Northwell) in Poughkeepsie, NY. During residency, he had extensive experience performing both elective and emergency surgeries. His training included traditional open surgery along with laparoscopic and robotic minimally invasive techniques.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Anandarajan has a strong background in academic research. He has co-authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and has also presented research at conferences both locally and nationally.
